Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and three children. I have a passion for glomerular disease and women’s health within nephrology and am committed to improving the long-term outcomes of both kidney disease and its co-morbidities. My career goal is to provide patient-centered care to individuals with chronic kidney disease through both clinical and research endeavors. Nephrology is a field that remains mentally stimulating yet tremendously fulfilling and I continue to appreciate each day in this profession. With a Master of Science in Clinical Research from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, I am gaining the necessary tools to advance the field and pursue meaningful clinical research in this area. My research and clinical interests include the intersection of women’s health and nephrology in areas such as fertility, contraception, pregnancy, postpartum care, and menopause.
